The Pathways unit is there to support learners with Specific Needs - including, but not limited to, those with ASD, Intellectual Impairment, Communication Disorders, Anxiety, Oppositional Defiance Disorder.

We respect all students’ individuality and aim to provide a timetable tailored to their skills, needs and interests which will include mainstream curriculum, alternative programming and lessons focussing on individual needs. A kitchen, garden and multiple classrooms provide opportunity for a wide variety of learning experiences and partnerships with work experience and VET providers allow access to alternative education off campus.

The Pathways team have programs focusing on assisting students with mainstream study as well as in social skills, life skills and self-management. Our aim is that learners will grow in confidence, independence and happiness and leave Rosebery Middle school with the tools to succeed in their next steps, whatever they may be.
