Clontarf Academy

Any Aboriginal boy enrolled at Rosebery Middle School can apply to be part of the program.

To maintain their position in the Academy participants need to show commitment towards the education program, school activities and Clontarf training.

We are currently accepting enrolments from prospective students in the area.

The Clontarf Foundation involves participants in activities, camps and workplace visits to develop a broad range of life skills. Highlights include interstate and regional tours, inter-Academy activities and excursions

The Clontarf Foundation exists to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal men and by doing so equip them to participate more meaningfully in society. The Clontarf Foundation conducts full-time mentoring programs in selected middle, high schools and colleges that cater for the specific educational needs of participants. The Clontarf Foundation uses sport and various activities to engage and improve students participation in education.

The Academy, in partnership with Rosebery Middle School, works with students to ensure they complete school through to the end of Year 12. Students need to demonstrate that they are work ready through their attitude and commitment to their education and the program. The Foundation will then support participants in their transition from school to further training and/or employment.
